eHealth

Developing an effective eHealth strategy

Leading health services are harnessing digital to provide low-cost, high-touch care to manage chronically ill patients in the home, improve patient convenience and access, support and rural remote patients and enable Hospital-in-the-Home services.

Litmus can help you design and implement an effective eHealth strategy, using cost-effective solutions supported by clinicians, that will keep you at the forefront of this revolution. We will keep you up-to-date with the latest developments in the market, and ensure that you understand how these technologies can be applied across your patient geography.

We have the technology and expertise to help you implement and monetise:

  • Tele-diagnostics and virtual exams
  • Tele-consultation and remote monitoring – improving chronic disease and patient discharge management and enabling at-risk pregnancies to be monitored at home
  • Tele-education – allowing your leading clinicians to train other health services, locally or internationally

Benefits

  • Tried and tested platform

Successful tele-medicine requires monitoring equipment to be paired with a robust platform to capture information and communicate it effectively and intelligently to remote health practitioners.

  • Highly adaptable

You can tailor monitoring equipment to different patient bases, with customised kits for patients with diabetes, CHF, COPD, hypertension, acute weight loss/gain, atherosclerosis, high-risk pregnancy, asthma or wound management.

  • Optimised resources

Where traditional tele-medicine services draw on resource support from costly third-party suppliers, our platform lets you harness the resource surplus from within your healthcare district.

  • Reduced agency costs

Tele-medicine enables internal load-balancing and sharing of resources.

  • Increased productivity

Specialty work is directed via the platform to the appropriate sub-specialists, increasing employee job-satisfaction and raising service output quality across the network.

  • Remote patient monitoring

Our In-home Patient Kit helps hospitals to continue to provide appropriate care with minimal patient disruption, while avoiding unnecessary costs. It also avoids unnecessary patient admissions and catching a change in disease state before it deteriorates into life critical (and costly) territory.

  • Specialist-in-the-home

Our mobile clinician kit allows visiting care givers to connect patients and their families face-to-face to specialists anywhere in the world via video-conferencing. Specialists can view the patient’s vital signs, cardiopulmonary data and medical images in real-time, give advice and answer questions.

Mobile Clinician's Kit

Travelling clinicians use our Mobile Clinician’s Kit in ad-hoc clinic settings such as schools, occupational health facilities, correctional facilities, aeroplanes and cruise and commercial ships. The self-contained patient examination and diagnostic clinic fits into an overhead storage compartment.

The kit is provided in a reinforced telemedicine case enabling the capture and transmission of vital data of patients in order to establish an easy medical diagnosis from anywhere in the world in any circumstances.

The kit also includes USB or Bluetooth® wireless biomedical sensors to make exams capture faster and easier: Simultaneous 12-lead 12-channel ECG, pulse oximeter and automatic blood pressure as standard. It can also include a smart wireless Glucometer and a Thermometer.
